"In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps" is the Proverb that has been sweetly speaking to me the last few mornings. I open my eyes with a smile on my face and just humbly thank God.
Adoption has been a hope and dream of ours for over twenty years. Finally, we began to go after our dream a couple of years ago. We had decided to pursue a little girl from China. After a long year of paperwork, fees and the beginnings of fundraising we were well on our way. After being told it would be a very long wait, we decided to begin to look ourselves. Day and night I combed advocacy websites looking and searching.
Two weeks ago we saw a photo and story of a child and instantly we knew this was our match, the one we had been waiting for. Much to our surprise, God had plans for us to have a son. This handsome, amazing child was a thirteen year old boy who had stole our hearts. He desperately wants to be adopted and has very little time left before he will age out of the system and no longer be eligible for adoption. We are literally racing to get him in time. Will you please consider supporting us in bringing him home.

ReplyDeleteWe go back almost 23 years and the Powells are a beautiful family. I have had the pleasure to share their love, their kindness, caring, and much happiness over the years and cherish Missie and her family. I am so happy for this little boy and all the blessing from God they will all share. Can't wait to meet him. Prayers and love to you all.
